Born on January 15, 1978 in Pune, Maharashtra, Dimple has been a two-time MP from Kannauj. His family is originally from Uttarakhand. His father is a retired colonel. Dimple is the second of three sisters. Dimple’s early education took place in Sainik School. His parents currently live in Kashipur, Uttarakhand. Dimple and Akhilesh Yadav had a love marriage.
Candidate was made in Firozabad by-election in 2009
In the assembly elections 2022 also, Dimple played a role in the campaign of SP candidates.
In the 2009 Lok Sabha elections, Akhilesh Yadav contested from two seats in Uttar Pradesh, Firozabad and Kannauj. Later Akhilesh left the Firozabad seat and made Dimple the candidate from there in the by-election. But, Dimple lost the election to Congress leader Raj Babbar.
In 2012, from Kannauj, SP had expressed its trust in Dimple itself.
After Akhilesh Yadav left the Kannauj Lok Sabha seat, by-elections were held there in 2012. This time also SP expressed confidence in Dimple Yadav. Here Lal Bahadur was in the fray for the BJP. The BJP organization was campaigning for him. Dimple had held only one public meeting here for Indrajit Saroj. Machilishahar comes in the seventh stage of promotion. Dr. Ragini was contesting from Machhlishahr. Dr. Ragini, a resident of Varanasi Cantt, is the MD.
