Haryana is facing severe heat these days. People’s wait for monsoon is going to end now. The Meteorological Department has fixed the date for the arrival of monsoon. Monsoon will knock in the state on June 30. The good thing is that from June 25, pre-monsoon rains will start in the state. Earlier, many times the monsoon has also come in the first week of July.

Here, according to the Agricultural Meteorology Department of Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar, the weather in the state is likely to remain generally changeable till June 27.

According to the Meteorological Department in Haryana, during the night of June 25 to June 27, the weather will change in most areas of Haryana. During this, there is a possibility of light to moderate pre-monsoon rains with winds. According to the Meteorological Department, there will be good rains in most areas of Haryana before the monsoon. If there is continuous and good amount of rain during these days, then it will also be considered as a good sign of the arrival of monsoon.

Rain will be beneficial for farmers
In Haryana, the 7 districts of GT belt are called the rice bowl. Paddy is the largest area sown among Kharif crops in Haryana. Seeing the rain, the farmers have started planting paddy. If the monsoon knocks in Haryana this month, then the farmers will be greatly benefited by it. Paddy is planted in about 12 lakh hectares of land in Haryana. Farmers have started filling water in the fields as well.

Biparjoy has left Haryana
After being active in Haryana for almost 2 days, Biparjoy storm has now left. Due to this, there was rain along with strong wind in half of Haryana. If we look at the rainfall data, an average of 2.1 MM rainfall was recorded. Wind speed of 60 km was also recorded at many places. Maximum rainfall was received in Kurukshetra, where it received 19.6 mm of rain.

43% less rain in June
The Meteorological Department has already predicted that there will be 91% less rain in Haryana due to Biparjoy. The state has received 15.3 mm of rainfall in June, which is 43 per cent less than normal. By this time, 26.9 mm of rain is considered normal. 7 districts of the state received much less than normal rainfall, 6 districts received deficient and 7 districts received normal rainfall. There were also two districts where it rained more than normal.
