Similarly, the water level has also increased in the dams built on other major rivers of the state. Paddy sowing is going on these days in the neighboring states of Himachal. In such a situation, the farmers of Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan will not face any shortage of water for its sowing. Along with this, Himachal and Delhi will also get enough water for drinking.

100% power generation started

Due to the increase in the water level in the rivers and drains, 100% power generation has also started. Compared to Power Controller Gagan 2021 and 2022, this time there has been good power generation in April and May as well. Hundred percent has started in June.

Sanjivani received from heavy snow-fall in April

According to the State Center on Climate Changes of the Himachal Environment Science and Technology Department (HIM-COST), the state has received nominal snow this year between December and February.

It is a matter of relief that there was heavy snowfall in Himachal in April. This has given a good revival to the glaciers. The result of this is that these days there is sufficient water in the rivers.
