Vadodara: The office of Dabhoi MLA Shailesh Mehta was burgled sometime on Thursday night. Blank letterheads were stolen from the office.
While Mehta is a resident of Vadodara, the heavyweight politician has been elected from Dabhoi on a BJP ticket. Jagdish Bhatiya, a resident of Dabhoi, takes care of the office and one Manu Raval assists Bhatiya.
On Friday morning when Raval reached the office he saw the lock of main entrance broken. Bhatiya informed Mehta and other BJP functionaries also reached the office.
No valuables were found missing from the office, but it came to light that letterheads had been taken away. Another house in the area where the office was located was also broken into on Thursday night.
