A painful accident took place on Monday during the Kanwar Yatra in Mhow of Indore district of Madhya Pradesh. Dancing to the tunes of DJ, a kavadia died of electrocution and 3 got severe burns. The dancing kanwariya’s hand touched the electric wire, due to which the vehicle got electrocuted. Some Kanwariya DJs fell on the roof of the vehicle due to electrocution. The incident is of Simrol police station area.

Simrol TI RS Bhadauria said that the kanwariyas were walking in village Memdi at around 1 pm on Monday while dancing to the tune of DJ. During this, Kanwariyas were competing amongst themselves on two DJs. The DJs were running from under the 11 thousand KV power line. During this, the hand of the youth standing on the DJ vehicle collided with the line. Due to this, the current spread on the DJ vehicle.
As soon as the current started, the youth started falling. A young man Raunak died there. Shiva, Lokesh and Atul get burnt. Shiv has been referred to MY Hospital, Indore. Lokesh and Atul are being treated in Mhow. Watch full incident in VIDEO…
A similar incident happened in West Bengal last week too.
In West Bengal’s Cooch Behar, 10 kanwariyas were killed, while 16 were badly burnt due to electrocution in a pickup on Monday. The accident took place on Dharla Bridge of Mekhaliganj police station area. 27 kanwariyas were going to offer water to the Shiva temple of Jalpesh sitting on the pickup. The DJ was playing behind the pickup. Due to a short circuit in the generator wire, the current reached the pickup. Kanwariyas had come in its grip.
