New Delhi: England captain Eoin Morgan announced his retirement from international cricket on Tuesday. The star batter registered many milestones during his career. The 35-year-old, regarded as one the finest players and captains in England cricket history, has played 248 ODIs and 16 Tests during his career. He has scored 14 centuries and 47 half-centuries in Test cricket. It was under Morgan’s captaincy that England won its maiden World Cup in the year 2019.
Morgan played his debut ODI match in August 2006. He made his T20 International debut for England in June 2009. If we talk about Test debut, Morgan played his first-ever Test match for England in 2010.
Morgan’s ODI and T20 International career was excellent. He scored 7701 runs in 248 ODIs with help of 14 centuries and 47 half-centuries. He scored 2458 runs in 115 T20Is with help of 14 half-centuries.
