After Haryana, now in Jharkhand, criminals crushed and killed a police officer with a vehicle. In Ranchi’s Tupudana area, the driver of a pick-up van crushed a woman police officer to death. The incident is said to have happened around 3 pm on Tuesday.
It is being told that at 2 pm, Sandhya Topno got information that a pickup van laden with animals would come out of their area. After that he started checking the vehicles. She was about to stop the pickup van after checking a car, when it crushed her and left at high speed.
Along with Sandhya Topno, two more constables of the police station were also present during the checking. After the incident, the police started chasing the pickup van. After going a short distance, the pickup van overturned. The police have arrested two people including the driver in it. they are being interrogated.
