New Delhi: India continues to report over 3000 fresh Covid cases as the country registered a total of 3,324 coronavirus infections on Saturday. With the addition of fresh cases, the total case tally has reached 4,30,79,188, while the number of active cases increased to 19,092, according to data updated by the Union Health Ministry
The death toll has climbed to 5,23,843 with 40 fatalities, the data updated at 8 am stated.
The active cases accounted for 0.04 per cent of the total infections, while the national COVID-19 recovery rate was recorded at 98.74 per cent.
An increase of 403 cases has been recorded in the active COVID-19 caseload in a span of 24 hours.
