PUDUCHERRY: Pondicherry University has postponed theory examinations of the first year and the second year MBBS degree programmes from January 17 to February 7 due to the spike in Covid-19 cases.
Controller of examinations (in-charge) C K Ramaiah said the decision had been taken after discussions with the directors/ deans of medical colleges affiliated to Pondicherry University and the dean of the school of medical sciences. The revised schedule would be announced in due course, said Ramaiah.
