Meanwhile, China has approved two indigenous medicines. These are oral medicines and will be given to adults suffering from mild corona infection. Since the zero-covid policy ended in December, the demand for medicines in China has increased rapidly.

The world’s first intranasal Covid-19 vaccine iNCOVACC will be given as a booster dose.

On Sunday, 109 new cases of corona were reported in India. On the other hand, a patient died in Gujarat. According to Health Ministry data, there are currently 1,842 active cases in the country. Since the beginning of the epidemic, more than 5.3 lakh people have died in the country. Also, more than 40 million people have been infected with the virus.

Recently, indigenous pharma company Bharat Biotech has launched the world’s first intranasal Covid-19 vaccine iNCOVACC in the country. Talking to the Times of India, a senior official of the Health Ministry said that this vaccine will first be given at private vaccination sites. Right now the government has not issued any guidelines to make this vaccine available on government sites.

iNCOVACC vaccine will be given as a booster dose. It can be taken by everyone above 18 years of age. According to Bharat Biotech, the vaccine will cost Rs 325 per dose in government sites and Rs 800 per dose in private sites.
