50,210 new cases of corona have been found in Karnataka on Sunday. This is the highest number of cases found in a day during all three waves of corona. Earlier on May 5, 2021, 50,112 cases were found in Karnataka. In the last 24 hours, 22,842 patients have defeated corona in the state, while 19 corona infected have died. At present, the number of patients undergoing treatment here is 3.57 lakh, the positivity rate is 22.77%.

  • Today 40,805 new cases were found in Maharashtra and 44 corona infected died. Active cases have increased to 2.93 lakh in the state.

1. Maharashtra: Decrease in new cases
