A terrible incident took place in Kolkata Metro. And because of that, the passengers are panicking. However, there was no mechanical disturbance or suicide this time. Tuesday night metro driver was drunk. As soon as this complaint came to the fore, there was panic among the passengers. On Tuesday night, Noapara station arrived, but the metro did not stop, nor did its doors open.

What exactly happened in Metro Rail? According to the passengers, the metro rail ran till Barahnagar on Tuesday night with the gate open. Even at Noapara station, several passengers could not get down as the metro gate was not opened. And after that, the metro ran up to Barahnagar with the gate open! Passengers got down at Barahnagar. They protested there. This incident happened because the driver was distracted. Such complaints have been raised by the passengers.

What happened in the metro? According to sources, a metro from Kabi Subhash to Dakshineswar did not stop at Noapara station on Tuesday night. Even after Dumdum, Noapara station left, the metro gate did not open. Due to this the passengers faced great suffering. And that metro left the gate open and ran to Barahnagar. Passengers complained that the driver was driving the metro under the influence of alcohol.

Then what exactly happened? When the metro stopped at Barahnagar station after crossing Noapara, the doors of the metro rake opened. The passengers immediately erupted into protest. They started screaming at the station. In this situation, the protesting passengers submitted a complaint to the officer-in-charge of Barahnagar metro station Gaud Chandra Adhikari. When the RPF reached the spot, the passengers got into a fight with them. How did the driver drive the metro while drunk? Passengers asked. Police reached the spot to bring the situation under control. Efforts to control the protests continue. However, there is still no proof that the driver was driving the train under the influence of alcohol. Due to this incident, the metro movement on the up line was stopped for about 15 minutes on Tuesday night.
