The new Chief Minister of Punjab, Bhagwant Mann is going to make a big announcement soon. CM Mann himself gave this information by tweeting. He said that no such decision would have been taken till date in history. Mann’s announcement is being linked to the promise made by the Aam Aadmi Party at the time of election. This includes, most importantly, 300 units of free electricity, government jobs and one thousand per month to every woman above the age of 18 years.

AAP government for the first time in Punjab
Aam Aadmi Party has formed the government for the first time in Punjab. Till now Punjab was ruled by Congress and Akali Dal. Punjab is the first full-fledged state after Delhi, where Aam Aadmi Party has got power.

Aam Aadmi Party gave record breaking performance in Punjab elections. AAP won 92 seats out of 117. The Congress, which was in power, was reduced to just 18 out of 77. Whereas Akali Dal got only 3 seats. People voted fiercely to make Bhagwant Mann the CM with the change of Punjab. Mann was made the CM face of Punjab by the Aam Aadmi Party.
