CM Bhagwant Mann addressing the people.

2 toll plazas have been closed in Sangrur, Punjab. CM Bhagwant Mann announced this after reaching Sangrur. Mann said that the company had asked him for 6 months. 50 crore compensation was sought for not giving time. For this, the company was arguing for the loss caused during the Corona and the farmers’ agitation. If there was any other government, instead of 6, it would have given 10 months to give the rest of the money to us. However, the AAP government rejected the company’s demand. Both the toll plazas will be closed after 12 pm.

Everyone loses from Corona, the company also suffers
CM Mann said that the company spoke of loss from Corona. I told them that Corona was a natural disaster. It was a loss to the whole world. Common people also suffered. If everyone had to bear the loss, the company also suffered. In the farmers movement, the central government had made wrong laws. It was a movement of the whole country. We will not give any compensation to the company.

2 toll plazas to go 70 km
CM Bhagwant Mann said that on going from Sangrur to Ludhiana, there are 2 toll plazas in 70 kms. The more diesel is used, the more toll tax is levied. When buying a car from a showroom, we pay 8% road tax, then why pay toll tax?
