Cloud burst in Gujarat’s Junagadh city on Saturday afternoon. Here it rained 8 inches in just 4 hours. At the same time, 14 inches of rain has been recorded in the Girnar mountain region. When the water flowing from the mountains reached the city of Junagadh, there was a flood. Vehicles parked on the roads were seen flowing like straws. The low-lying areas of the city have been flooded up to 5 feet. NDRF team is engaged in evacuating the people trapped in the flood.

The Bhavnath area of ​​the city has been affected the most by the floods. Here in the cattle shed, many animals including cows got washed away in the strong current of water. Similar is the condition of Mubarak Pada near Kadwa Chowk. People’s houses were completely submerged due to filling of about 6 feet of water here, due to which there has been a lot of economic loss. Due to the strong flow of water, the bridge of Kale Kund passing through Junagadh has been closed.

3 to 4 feet water filled on the roads
Durvesh Nagar, Ganesh Nagar, Joshipara and other areas of the city were also flooded. Here the roads are filled with 3 to 4 feet of water. A young man was swept away here, who was saved in time by the local people. Many two-wheelers in the areas have also been washed away.
