A fire at a Christian pregnancy clinic in Colorado is being treated as arson as chilling messages were sprayed on walls and outside on the ground.

A fire broke out at midnight at the Life Choice Clinic in Longmont, northeast of Boulder, at 3:17 a.m. Saturday.

Firefighters from the Longmont Fire Department were at the scene at midnight to douse the fire

Photos also show the front of the property stained with graffiti and black paint.

Several phrases were sprayed on the walls and concrete outside the building.

‘If abortion isn’t safe, you’re not either,’ read one. ‘Bans our body,’ said another from the entrance.

The building caught fire and smoke caused heavy damage, according to Longmont Public Safety officials.

Across the country in Vermont, the State Capitol in Montpellier was ransacked.

Windows were broken and a message was painted on the outside of the main door, reports WCAX – ‘If abortion is not safe then you are also not’, it is written in it.

Capitol police say the incident happened around 2 a.m., with seven windows broken and $25,000 worth of damage.
