Cold weather has knocked in North India. Somewhere it is raining and somewhere it is snowing. Monsoon-like weather is still prevailing in Delhi. It has been raining continuously for the last 24 hours. Due to this, many areas of Delhi are facing the problem of water logging and traffic jams. At the same time, the rescue operation of the army is going on amidst the avalanches in Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand. It is snowing in Hemkund Sahib in Chamoli, Uttarakhand.

There will be more rain in Delhi now

The Indian Meteorological Department has predicted more rain in Delhi and adjoining areas. Meteorological Department officials said that the temperature has dropped significantly due to incessant rains and the air quality of the city has also improved. The rain is likely to drop by Monday.

At the same time, the road in front of Yatharth Hospital in Greater Noida West collapsed. The accident happened near the under-construction Express Astra project due to heavy rains. In such accidents, builders are often accused of digging close to the service road. Such incidents happen only because of excavation. In the past also there have been incidents due to projects, for which action has been taken against the builders.

Snowfall in Hemkund Sahib
The world’s highest Gurudwara Hemkund Sahib in Chamoli, Uttarakhand received snowfall on Sunday. More than an inch of fresh snow has frozen here. Along with this, snow has also fallen on the peaks of Badrinath Dham. Due to this snowfall, the cold has increased in the plains as well.

Army rescue continues in Uttarkashi avalanche
The avalanche came on Tuesday in Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand. The incident took place at a place called Draupadi Ka Danda (DKD), where mountaineers are usually trained. 41 trainees of Nehru Institute of Mountaineering (NIM) went for training. Till Saturday, 26 bodies have been recovered from here, three are still missing. The rescue operation of the army continued here on Saturday.
