The whole story of the Chandigarh University video leak case has been mired in questions. In this case related to the honor and respect of more than 60 girl students, even the police have nothing to tell. The girls of the university are upset and scared, but the police have neither been able to connect the links of the accused nor have they been able to expose the real culprit. The officers have nothing more to say than ‘investigation is going on’ for every question.

- Fauji Sanjeev Singh used to talk to the girl student with the photo of Rankaj Verma?, If the girl knew this then why did she show the photo of Rankaj to other girl students?. If the girl did not really know the face of the soldier, then how did she become so close to the soldier that she sent his pornographic video to him?
- Why is the police forensic investigation getting delayed? Apart from the accused student, the police also sent the mobiles of the other three for investigation. Whether videos were made from them or not, were they made viral or not and where were they made viral? Why is the report being delayed in this regard?.

When the girl students demonstrated over the viral video, women police officers were immediately made a Special Investigation Team (SIT). After all, what is this SIT doing? Why is the investigation of such a sensitive matter so lax? Is the government investigating or suppressing the matter till it cools down?

Why is the Chandigarh University video leak case in such a hurry to come out?.. That’s because it is a case related to the shame of thousands of girl students studying there. The girls are still in fear that suddenly the video of them taking a bath may not reach their parents or the market.
The girl students are returning to the university fearing loss of studies, but they and their parents are scared that their videos may not come. The responsibility of alleviating this concern rests with the Punjab Police and the Punjab Government, who are currently not ready to take any word other than ‘investigation’ out of their mouth.
After these videos surfaced, it was said that some girl students attempted suicide but the police and university management denied it.

- On September 18, the girl students complained to the hostel warden that a student had made a video of them. The accused student confessed to this during interrogation with other students and the warden and said that I have made a video and sent it to Sunny of Shimla.
- When the university did not take action throughout the day, the girls created a ruckus at 3 am on Sunday. When the girl was questioned in the hostel on Sunday, she showed the boy’s photo on her mobile. Said it had put pressure. This photo was of Rankaj Verma.
- During this time 8 girls tried to commit suicide. The girls also made this claim. However, the university management and the police termed this as a rumour.
- In the morning, the police and the university management claimed without forensic investigation that the videos of any other girl did not go viral. The girl only sent her photo to the boy.
- In this case, the girl was arrested after registering a case against the girl for violating the IT Act and privacy of others.
- With the help of Himachal Police, Punjab Police arrested Sunny Mehta from Rohru and Rankaj Verma from Dhali in Shimla. Both have been brought to Punjab.
- Dissatisfied with the words and action of the police and the university management, the students again started protesting in Chandigarh University on Sunday evening.
- At 1.30 pm, the university management and administration took action against the hostel wardens on the demand of the girl students and took a week off.
- A few days ago, the police arrested Sanjeev Singh, an army man from Arunachal Pradesh. He is suspected that he used to get the video from the girl student. He had put the photo of Rankaj Verma on DP.
- The police took first 7 and then 5 days remand of the accused student, Sunny and Rankaj. Fauji Sanjeev is also on remand for 5 days. Despite this, what has come out of the investigation so far? Punjab Police could not tell anything.

Sunny Mehta, who is being told as the boyfriend of the accused student, says that there was a fight between them. After which he blocked the accused student. No video was sent to him.
The accused student said that she was being blackmailed and asked for videos of other girl students.

The second accused Rankaj Verma said that my photo was misused. The number on which I got my photo is not mine. I have a business of tours and travels, so why not lock my social media accounts? Because of which another person copied the photo and used it.
