After Parkash Singh Badal in Akali Dal, Ranjit Brahmpura and Sukhdev Dhindsa were senior leaders, who later left Akali Dal and formed SAD united.

In Punjab, the Captain and the BJP are going to contest the elections together with the SAD joint this time.

Argument of workers – resentment towards BJP in Punjab

The workers of SAD Samyukta argue that even though the Center may have withdrawn the agrarian reform laws, there is resentment among the people due to the farmers’ agitation. Apart from this, people are also unhappy about the performance of Captain Amarinder Singh. In such a situation, if the BJP and Captain Amarinder Singh tie up, the party may suffer in the elections.

Brahmapura said – if there is an alliance, he will not stay in the party

Ranjit Brahmpura said that party workers have already expressed their displeasure over the fact that they are not ready for an alliance with the BJP. He also raised questions that when the party does not agree, then why did Dhindsa meet Amit Shah? If SAD forges an alliance with the United BJP, he will no longer be in the party.

Akali Dal leaves Brahmapura seat vacant

The special thing is that Akali Dal has declared candidates for more than 90 seats so far, but Khadoor Sahib seat is vacant. This is the same seat from where senior SAD joint leader Ranjit Brahmpura has been an MLA. There is also talk that Brahmapura may return to Akali Dal (Badal).
