Challan presented in Ajnala police station violence: 20 accomplices of Amritpal were involved, 6 policemen including SP Jugraj were injured in the attack

Police has presented a challan in connection with the violence by Waris Punjab de Mukhi Amritpal Singh and his associates at Ajnala police station in Amritsar, Punjab. This challan has been made against 20 associates of Amritpal Singh in Ajnala Court. In this case, the police has also registered an FIR against 250 unknown people.

According to the information received, the challan was presented in the court in the name of Gurpal Singh and others. Due to being in Dibrugarh Jail, challan has not yet been presented against Mukhi Amritpal Singh of Waris Punjab De. Soon a supplementary challan will be presented against him in the court.

In this challan, the police have been asked to register a case against the accused under IPC sections 307, 353, 186, 120B and the Arms Act. SP Jugraj Singh has also been kept as the main witness in the challan presented by the police on the basis of ASI Ratan Singh’s complaint. Whose head had more than 10 stitches.

Attack on Ajnala police station on the arrest of storm

These people were protesting against the arrest of Lavpreet Singh Toofan, close to the head of the organisation, Amritpal Singh.

The Punjab Police, which came under pressure after their attack, had announced the release of the accused. The police had put up barricades to stop the rampaging mob, but they broke through and entered inside. 6 policemen were injured in this.

Why did the Ajnala violence happen?
A case has been registered against a total of 30 people, including Amritpal, his accomplice Toofan Singh, at the Ajnala police station in Amritsar. Please tell that after kidnapping a young man who had commented against Amritpal on social media, he was badly beaten.

In fact, Barinder Singh of Chamkaur Sahib, who reached Ajnala on the night of 15 February, was abducted by some people. Barinder Singh was assaulted at the motor near Jandiala Guru (where Amritpal was also present). On whose complaint a case was registered against Amritpal and his supporters.

In this case, the police had arrested Toofan Singh. This enraged Amritpal and he announced his arrest while protesting outside Ajnala police station.
