CBI sends ECR CFTM Sanjay Kumar, SrDOM Rupesh Kumar and Sachin Mishra to jail for bribery – Rail Hunt

Patna. CBI/ACB team has arrested SrDOM/SPJ Rupesh Kumar and SrDOM/SEE Sachin Mishra including CFTM/ECR Sanjay Kumar of East Central Railway Zone and sent them to jail. This arrest has been made in the case of corruption in the allocation of racks from zone to division. In a release issued by the CBI, CFTM/ECR Sanjay Kumar has been revealed to have been caught taking a bribe of six lakh rupees from his office. The CBI has arrested Samastipur and Sonepur Sr.DOM SrDOM/SPJ Rupesh Kumar and SrDOM/SEE Sachin Mishra.

CBI/ACB Patna has registered the case RC0232022A0008 on 31 July 2022. In this, CFTM/ECR Sanjay Kumar, SrDOM/SPJ Rupesh Kumar, SrDOM/SEE Sachin Mishra, besides M/s Abha Agro Industries & Exports, Naval Ladha of Kolkata, Manoj Ladha of M/s Abha Agro Industries and Deshbandhu Para, Baldoria, Dalcola, Golpokhar, North Manoj Kumar Saha of Dinajpur along with others have been made accused. The CBI has seized Rs 46.50 lakh in raids conducted at 16 places. Apart from this, Rs 29 lakh (approximately) in six envelopes containing cash to be given to various ECR officials from the SUV car of a Kolkata-based businessman has also been seized.

CBI has clarified that apart from CFTM/ECR Sanjay Kumar, SrDOM/SPJ Rupesh Kumar, SrDOM/SEE Sachin Mishra, several officers of East Central Railway (ECR), are committing large-scale malpractices in the allocation of railway rakes for loading of goods. Were. All these officers were taking undue advantage by doing other irregularities including rake allocation in connivance with selected vendors. In this, there is an allegation of giving undue benefits to Naval Kishore Ladha and his firm M/s Abha Agro Industries Pvt Ltd by taking huge amount every month.

According to the information revealed so far, SrDOM/SPJ Rupesh Kumar was paid Rs 4 lakh on 24.05.2022 Rs 6 lakh on 27.06.2022 by Naval Ladha through his driver Manoj Saha. Similarly SrDOM/SEE Sachin Mishra was paid 6 lakhs on 24.05.2022, and 3.5 lakhs on 11.06.2022. 10 lakh was paid to CFTM/ECR Sanjay Kumar on 24.05.2022 and 10 lakh on 20.06.2022. It was a monthly process.

During the interrogation of CBI, it came to light that on 30.07.2022 Naval Ladha had sent Manoj Ladha and Bajrang Ladha to Patna, Sonepur and Samastipur by filling Rs 23.5 lakh in separate envelopes for making payment to the authorities. 6 lakh in this. 6 lakhs Rs. 5 lakh Rs. 3 lakh Rs. 2.75 lakhs Rs. 50,000/- and Rs. 25,000 was sent to be distributed to various officials of ECR.
