It has been announced to conduct the examination of Constable (General Duty) in 13 regional languages ​​for the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) in addition to Hindi and English.

The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on Saturday announced to conduct the examination of Constable (General Duty) for the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) in 13 regional languages, apart from Hindi and English. Now questions in the exam will also be asked in Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Marathi, Malayalam, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Odia, Urdu, Punjabi, Manipuri and Konkani. This new language format will be applicable from January 2024.

Actually, this decision has been taken to promote the participation of local youth in CAPF and encourage regional languages. With this decision, lakhs of candidates will be able to take the exam in their mother tongue and regional language. Also, their chances of selection will increase. Constable GD is one of the major exams conducted by SSC. Every year lakhs of people give this exam.
