Gujarat’s ST bus escaped from a major accident on the National Highway in Navapur city of Maharashtra this afternoon. Fortunately, the bus remained stuck in the air on the side of the ditch. If the balance of the bus had deteriorated, it would have fallen into the ditch. Showing courage, the driver and the cleaner took all the passengers out of the bus one by one. The bus was coming from Malegaon to Surat carrying about 30 passengers. In the meantime, the accident happened. The driver said that the accident happened due to brake failure of the bus.

20 passengers injured
Around 20 people including 4 children were injured in the accident. However, no one was seriously injured. As soon as the information was received, 108 ambulances reached the spot, due to which the injured were rushed to the hospital in Navapur. After first aid, some passengers have been sent to Surat by another bus.

The bus went out of control and collided with stones on the side of the road and after that its front part was hanging in the air. This caused a commotion in the bus. However, the passers-by passing through the highway immediately ran for help and then pulled out all the passengers one by one. During this, some people had taken the children out of the windows. A police team patrolling nearby had also reached the spot. After this the bus was pulled out by crane.
