Due to this, the train operation on the up line of Prayagraj-Delhi route remained closed overnight. New Delhi-bound Prayagraj Express remained overnight at Subedarganj railway station and Prayagraj-New Delhi Humsafar, Prayagraj-Jaipur Superfast Junction. All trains were dispatched on Saturday morning.

Passengers were also very upset due to standing at the station of trains overnight. Passengers of AC coach also said that there is less cooling. There were also some passengers who slept in the night itself. When he woke up in the morning, he felt that the train had reached his destination station, but when he came to know that the train was standing there for the whole night, he was very disappointed.

Mahabodhi, who left first, reached Delhi at 3.30 pm, Prayagraj on Friday night at 8.40 pm, after the OHE line was broken, the down line was opened for rail operation at 10.30 pm, but the OHE of the up line was repaired in the morning. During this, the first Mahabodhi Express was taken out of the up line at 6.45 am. At the same time, Prayagraj, which left the junction at 11.30 pm, which was standing at Subedarganj railway station since 11.45 pm, left at 6.30 am. Which reached New Delhi at 3.30 pm.

Jaipur Express also ran at 6 am instead of 11.10 pm and Delhi Humsafar at 6.50 am instead of 10.25 pm. During this, two dozen trains including all Prayagraj Rajdhani Express, Freedom Fighter, Sivaganga Express, Banaras-New Delhi, Magadha Express left late.
