There were three infiltration attempts from Pakistan side on the Punjab border. After the change in the weather, the smugglers sitting in Pakistan are continuously trying to execute their wrong plans in India. But in the meantime BSF jawans have succeeded in bringing down a Pakistani drone and helping two smugglers escape.

According to the information received, the drone movement was heard at 10 pm at Chowki Daoke under Amritsar sector. The patrolling BSF jawans started firing after hearing the sound of the drone. Within a few minutes the sound of the drone stopped. After which a search operation was conducted in the area. In which the BSF jawans have recovered the drone that fell in the fields. The 8-propeller (wing) octa-copter is a DJI matrix, which is used by Pakistan smugglers to cross the border in large consignments.

On the other hand, the second attempt was foiled by the jawans patrolling at Faraipur outpost under Sector Pathankot. Hi-tech BSF saw two intruders in action with the help of thermal cameras in Pakistani Rangers post Faraipur. The soldiers of Battalion 121 were on patrol on the border. The jawans started firing for vigilance. After which the soldiers had to return.

Meanwhile, between 9.45 to 10.30 pm, BSF jawans heard the sound of drone movement in Panjgarai outpost under Amritsar sector. The soldiers became alert on hearing the voice. After which the soldiers started firing. After firing the drone returned. Whose information was given by the BSF jawans to their senior officers. Since then the search operation has been conducted in the area.
