BSF jawan commits suicide: Telangana’s Rajlu shot himself with a service weapon in Fazilka Cantonment; was under stress

A BSF jawan committed suicide by shooting himself with a service weapon in Fazilka, Punjab. It is being said that the jawan was in mental trouble for some time. Police will take action based on the statement of the family members. The dead body of the jawan has been kept in the mortuary of the Civil Hospital.

According to the information, Kenboniya Ramlu (30), a resident of Maripali village in Telangana, was posted in 52 Battalion on the Border Road. Presently he was living in BSF Cantonment. He shot himself with a service weapon in the cantonment itself. Hearing the sound of the bullet, there was a stir in the whole area and the companions got alert. After some time it was learned that the jawan had committed suicide by shooting himself.

Investigating officer Milkh Raj said that a BSF jawan has been reported to have committed suicide by shooting himself with his service weapon. They are probing the matter. The deceased Kenboniya Ramlu was a resident of village Maripali in Telangana. The youth has committed suicide. He also said that no statement has been recorded with him so far. So they cannot tell the cause of death of this young man.
