The Border Security Force (BSF) has started the application process for the posts of Head Constable (Radio Operator) and Head Constable (Radio Mechanic). Candidates who are interested can apply online through the official website at rectt.bsf.gov.in. The last date for submitting the application form is May 12. The recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 247 vacancies, out of which 217 vacancies are for the post of Head Constable (Radio Operator) and 30 vacancies are for the post of Head Constable (Radio Mechanic). Candidates are advised to check the official notification before applying for the exam.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification: Class 12 with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, or have passed Matriculation and obtained a two-year ITI certificate.
Age Limit: The minimum age is 18 years, and the maximum age limit is 25 years as of May 12, 2023. However, the upper age limit is relaxed for candidates belonging to reserved categories.
Application Fee
Candidates who belong to the unreserved/EWS/OBC category and are applying for the recruitment posts are required to pay an examination fee of Rs. 100 along with a service charge of Rs. 47.20. However, women candidates, SC/ST candidates, BSF serving personnel, and Ex-Servicemen are exempted from paying the examination fee.
