PM Modi To Visit Ram Setu’s Origin Point In Tamil Nadu Ahead Of Pran Pratishtha Ceremony

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit the Arichal Munai point, the point from where the Ram Setu was built, on Sunday morning, a day ahead of the Pran Pratishtha ceremony of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya, as reported by news agency ANI. The Prime Minister is scheduled to visit the Ram Setu’s origin point at 9:30 am.

PM Modi is set to perform puja at Sri Kothandarama Swamy temple at 10:15 am. According to ANI, the name Kothandarama means Rama with the bow. It is located in Dhanushkodi. It is said that this is where Ravana’s brother Vibhishana first met Lord Ram and asked him for refuge.

Some legends also say that this is the place where Lord Ram conducted the coronation of Vibhishana, ANI reported.

VHP’s Procession In Noida On Sunday, Traffic Cops Issue Advisory

The Noida Police on Saturday issued a traffic advisory informing commuters about VHP’s procession in the city on January 21. According to news agency PTI, the procession by the Vishva Hindu Parishad, being undertaken to mark the Consecration Ceremony at Ram Temple in Ayodhya, will start at 10 am on Sunday.

“The Jan Jagran Yatra by cars, motorcycles by VHP will start from Shilp Haat Sector 33 and pass through NTPC Underpass, Nithari Village, Sector 28. It will then take a U-turn from the front of the car market via Atta Chowk, Sector 18 Market… and culminate again at Noida Shilp Haat Sector 33,” the traffic police said, as quoted by PTI.

“In case of traffic inconvenience, commuters can contact the traffic helpline number 9971009001. Please use alternative routes to avoid inconvenience,” the police advised the general public.
