Bollywood heroes do not get old: Not only Akshay Kumar, Salman, Amitabh all made pair with heroines less than half their age

There is an old saying, ‘A man walking and a horse running never get old’. The man or the horse may not be old, but the directors of Bollywood do not consider the actors old. This is the reason that the heroines of film actors are less than half their age.

After Akshay Kumar’s new film ‘Samrat Prithviraj’, this matter is being debated again. His opposite Manushi Chillar is in this film. Manushi’s age is less than half of Akshay’s age. The film stars 54-year-old Akshay and 25-year-old Manushi.

In Samrat Prithviraj, Manushi plays the role of Prithviraj’s wife Sanyogita. Akshay Kumar became Prithviraj and there is a big difference in his age.

Bollywood ahead in making mismatched pair, from Salman to Amitabh also in the list

This difference in the age of actor and actress is not only in Akshay Kumar’s films nor is it new for Bollywood. In the film ‘Radhe’, 55-year-old Salman Khan was seen with 28-year-old Disha Patani. Shahrukh Khan worked in ‘Dear Zindagi’ with his son Aryan Khan’s cousin Alia Bhatt.

Big B Amitabh Bachchan is seen at the forefront in this matter. Soundarya, who played his wife in his famous 1999 film ‘Suryavansham’, was 35 years younger than him. Similarly, in the 2016 Ajay Devgan’s film ‘Shivaay’, he worked with Sayesha Saigal, 28 years younger than himself.

Amitabh Bachchan worked with an actress 35 years younger than himself in ‘Sooryavansham’. The actress became Amitabh’s wife in the film.

Actress gets the role of mother only in 30 years, actors remain college students

The career of most of the Bollywood heroines starts falling by the time they reach the age of 40. They start having trouble getting work. Even if work is available, roles like mother, sister-in-law and elder sister are given. Whereas 45-50 year old actors play the role of college student.
