While reports claimed that the film may just be heading the OTT way, the makers stepped in to brand those rumours as ‘False’ and reveal that a “New date will be announced shortly…”
Meanwhile, Vijay Deverakonda stepped in to give us a ‘glimpse’ of all the action set to unfold in his latest film ‘Liger’. Going by the teaser, the film is not about a boxer, but about an MMA fighter starting off as a ‘slumdog chaiwala’ and going on to become a world champ.
After winning praise for his performance as Kapil Dev in ‘83’, Ranveer Singh told ETimes, “I am in discussion for 5 biopics. Three of those biopics are of sportspersons.” When asked if one of these is on a paraplegic swimmer, the hunk didn’t confirm or deny the reports, he simply said. “I guess we should rather wait and give this time, those 5 biopics are all in different stages of development and hopefully one of them will develop into an extraordinary script and you will hear an official announcement soon.”
