Aftab was arrested on 12 November
He used to throw body parts at different places everyday. The police arrested him on 12 November. Police said that Aftab had cut Shraddha’s body into 35 pieces in the bathroom of the flat. During this, he used to keep the shower on so that the blood coming out of the body flows into the sewage. Sources have also told that Aftab had cleaned the fridge with chemicals so that the evidence could be destroyed.

The father didn’t know where the daughter was.
Shraddha’s father Vikas did not know where his daughter was. He had said- ‘I last spoke to him in 2021. Then I asked him how is your live-in partner. He didn’t say much. I didn’t even know that she had shifted to Delhi. One of her friends told that Shraddha is not in Bangalore but in Delhi. Aftab got a lot of time to destroy the evidence.

To avoid suspicion, he kept going to work, keeping Shraddha’s social media active
Aftab used to work in a company in Gurugram. Even after killing Shraddha, he used to go to work everyday, so that no one gets suspicious. However, after killing Shraddha, he did not allow anyone to come to his flat. After the murder, Aftab used to keep Shraddha’s Instagram profile and account updated to show her alive in the eyes of family and friends. He used to post something everyday.

A police officer said- Aftab was used to watching web series and especially crime shows. Seeing them, he learned how to show Shraddha alive in the eyes of family and friends. The idea of ​​cutting Shraddha’s body parts with a saw and keeping them safe in the fridge and keeping her in the jungles for 18 days continuously was also learned from these web series and crime shows. He had also found a way to clean blood through Google.
