Villagers engaged in the rescue of youth drowned in the lake.
A major accident took place on Tuesday in the Kotla lake located in Kotla village of Nuh, Haryana. 4 out of 5 youths who went for a boat ride in Kotla lake died. Out of these 4 dead, 3 were residents of Ankeda village. These included two real brothers, while the fourth was a resident of Singalhedi village of Punhana. All four were taking selfies while riding in the boat. Meanwhile, due to loss of balance of the boat, he fell into the water. His fifth companion came out swimming.
The accident is being told at 3 pm on Tuesday afternoon. 5 youths Mustaq (23), Yasir (15), Saqib (17), Sahil (15), residents of village Ankheda and Najakat (19) of village Singalhedi reached Kotla lake together. During this, all five sat in a boat kept near the lake and started taking a walk in the boat. Meanwhile, the youth also started taking selfies. While taking the selfie, the boat somehow lost its balance and the boat overturned.

Yasir made noise
It has been told that all five fell into the lake after the boat overturned. Meanwhile, Yasir somehow managed to get out while swimming, but the other four started drowning in the lake due to not knowing how to swim. When Yasir made noise as soon as he came out, Happu of Ankeda village, who was fishing at some distance, came hearing the noise. He called the people of the village and informed them and got into the lake to save the drowned youth.
Happu throws out two
During this, Happu somehow took out 2 youths, but by then both had died. After this the villagers also reached the spot and informed the police, but before the police reached, the villagers also took out the other 2 from the lake. During this, the villagers took him to the Medical College, Nalhar. But here the doctors declared all four dead.
All four were taken to Nuh CHC for postmortem. In this case, while taking action under 174 by the Sadar police station Nuh, the post-mortem of all the four was done late in the evening. After this, the dead bodies were handed over to the relatives.
Used to work with Mustaq
Najakat, a resident of Singalhedi village of Punhana, used to work at a lab of Mustaq located at Gohana turn. During this, a program was made between Mustaq and Najakat to see the Kotla lake and Yasir, along with two brothers Saqib and Sahil of the village, together reached to see the Kotla lake, but 4 died due to drowning in the depth of about 10 to 15 feet of the lake.
