The body of a BJP leader from Telangana, Gananendra Prasad (45), was found at his penthouse in Hyderabad on Monday. Prasad’s personal assistant (PA) found him hanging from the fan. In the initial investigation, the police is treating it as a suicide. However, no suicide note has been found from them and the reason behind the suicide is not yet known.

According to the information, before the death, the BJP leader had told his PA that he wanted to take rest, so no one should disturb him. He went to his room and did not come out for a long time. On this his PA knocked on the door, but got no answer. After this, when the PA broke the window of the room and looked inside, Prasad’s body was found hanging from the fan.
Police said, ‘On Monday morning, information was received that a person has committed suicide in Miyapur police station area. Immediately a team was sent to the spot, where the body of the BJP leader was found hanging from the fan. His body was brought down and sent to the local government hospital for post-mortem.
Prasad had an accident a few days ago
Gananendra Prasad was a member of the party’s State Executive Committee from the Sarlingampalli constituency. Police said that BJP leader Prasad had an accident a few days ago. In this his leg was fractured. The reasons for the suicide are not yet known, but the BJP leader was staying in his penthouse for the past few days. The police have registered a case based on the complaint of Prasad’s family members.
