Bill Gates, the world’s sixth-richest person and co-founder of Microsoft, posted a video on the social media platform Instagram on Monday (March 6). In this video, Gates is seen driving a Mahindra e-rickshaw, Treo, with Kishore Kumar and Manna Dey’s classic song ‘Babu Samjho Ishare’, which is going viral.
Gates wrote with his post that India’s passion for innovation is great. I drove an electric rickshaw which is capable of traveling up to 131 km (about 81 miles) and carrying 4 people. It is inspiring to see companies like Mahindra contributing to the decarbonization of the transportation industry.
