While taking action in North 24 Parganas of West Bengal, BSF has arrested a smuggler with 8 gold biscuits worth crores of rupees. The weight of the seized gold biscuits is 933 grams and its value is more than Rs 5 crore. According to BSF, this action has been taken by the jawans of 112th Battalion, Tarali Out Post under South Bengal Frontier. The smuggler has been identified as Bablu Molla.

Security forces recovered a cache of arms in Bihar’s Aurangabad

A huge cache of arms, ammunition and explosives has been recovered in a joint operation by CRPF and police in Aurangabad, Bihar. The recovered items include 315 bore rifle with magazine, 3,583 rounds of different bores, 4 IEDs, one UBGL mount, 2 wireless sets, one interceptor, 6 detonators, 24 pull and pressure mechanisms for IEDs, 10-15 Meter Cordtex wire, 8 mobile phones included. According to the information, the Naxalites were about to carry out some major incident in these areas.

Case against BJP MLA in Bihar, accused of stealing documents from college

An FIR has been lodged against Rashmi Verma, BJP MLA from Narkatiaganj in Bihar at Shikarpur police station. There is an allegation against the MLA of breaking the lock of the college and stealing papers. College Principal Shitanshu Kumar has registered the case.
