Congress has released its third list of 89 candidates for the next year’s assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh. Of these, 37 women have been fielded. Nirmala Bharti from Chitrakoot and Kamla Prajapati from Jehanabad have been given ticket by Congress. Congress had earlier released its second list for Uttar Pradesh elections on January 20, in which 41 candidates were given tickets, out of which 16 were women. A large consignment of fake notes of Rs 2,000 was recovered in Mumbai, police arrested 7 with Rs 7 crore
The Crime Branch of Mumbai Police has recovered a large consignment of fake notes of Rs 2,000, the value of which is said to be Rs 7 crore. According to DCP Mumbai Sangram Nishandar, 7 accused have been arrested in the case. The court has sent all the accused to police custody till January 31.

Filmmaker Sunil Darshan has taken a legal route to stop copyright infringement of his film ‘Ek Hasina Thi Ek Deewana Tha’ on YouTube. Sunil has lodged an FIR in this case in Mumbai on January 25 under Sections 51, 63 and 69 of the Copyright Act. In which he has alleged that his exclusive content is being used by many users on YouTube, due to which he has suffered huge losses. 5-storey building collapses in Mumbai’s Bandra, five to six people feared trapped
A five-storey building collapsed in Bandra, Mumbai. Five to six people were feared trapped in the building. Officials of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) have said that the incident took place at around 4.30 pm on Wednesday in Behram Nagar area of Bandra (East). Five vehicles of the fire brigade, a rescue van and six ambulances were sent to the spot after the building collapsed. Rescue operation is on. Let us inform that on Tuesday also two people were injured when a two-storey house collapsed in Malwani area of Malad West. The house collapsed around 7.30 pm on Tuesday.

Child dies due to electrocution in pipe during flag hoisting in Buxar, Bihar
Four children were electrocuted during the flag hoisting on Republic Day at a school in Buxar district of Bihar. One child has died in the accident, while two children and a youth are injured. BJP releases list of 6 candidates for Goa assembly elections
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has released another list of 6 candidates for the assembly elections to be held in Goa. According to this, BJP has made Antonio Fernandes its candidate from Saint-Cruz seat. Violent demonstration of railway students in Bihar; Fire in a standing train at Gaya Junction
Students’ performance in Bihar continued on Wednesday over complaints of rigging in RRB-NTPC results. During the protest, the students set fire to a train parked at Gaya Junction. The police also fired tear gas shells to control the situation.

Conspiracy to blow up a bridge in Madhya Pradesh with a time bomb failed
The conspiracy to blow up the National Highway-30 bridge in Rewa, MP on Republic Day failed. On Wednesday morning at 6 am, Mangwan police got information about the time bomb on the bridge. Police reached the spot and stopped the traffic on the highway and informed SP Navneet Bhasin.
