Bhaskar Updates: BSF arrested Pakistani citizen crossing the border

BSF arrested a Pakistani national who was trying to enter Indian territory. The suspect was illegally crossing the India-Pakistan border in Firozpur district of Punjab.

According to the PRO of Punjab Frontier, the Pak national had inadvertently crossed the border. Nothing objectionable has been recovered from him. After which the person was handed over to Pakistan Rangers.

West Bengal Panchayat elections: BJP releases manifesto, promises to remove corruption

West Bengal BJP President Sukanta Majumdar released the manifesto for the upcoming Panchayat elections to be held on July 8. In which it has been promised to have corruption free village councils and focus on rural.

Three-tier panchayat elections in 20 districts of Bengal and two-tier elections in Darjeeling and Kalimpong districts will be held in a single phase on July 8. The counting of votes will take place on July 11.
