Bhaskar Opinion: If Arif Mohammad is right then who is responsible for the education being imparted in madrasas?

After all, the Udaipur incident is proving to be a terrorist attack. The Rajasthan government kept calling it murder or brutal murder yesterday and today, but it has turned into a terrorist incident as soon as the link of these two criminals is found from an organization in Pakistan.

Meanwhile, Kerala Governor Arif Mohammad Khan says that this incident is actually a result of the education that is being given in madrasas. They say that the Muslim law Quran did not come from Pakistan, but it was written by a human being. In this law, there has been talk of slitting the throat of the blasphemer and all this is being taught in madrasas.

He has also said that if madrassas are determined to provide such education, then they should be closed or Muslim children should be sent to schools from the beginning instead of madrasas.

Tailor Kanhaiyalal was murdered in Udaipur on Tuesday. The entire city remained closed on Wednesday. Police personnel have been deployed everywhere. Internet service also remained suspended.

The matter does not stop here either. When from childhood you teach someone that a blasphemer should be cut off his throat, then when he grows up he may not do it but if someone starts provoking him for it, then it is easier for him to be convinced to do so.

Dawat-e-Islami, a Sunni extremist organization based in Pakistan, may have done the same. This Karachi-based organization is also related to a militant organization called Tehreek-e-Labbaik. Investigating agencies have received indications of involvement of this organization in the Udaipur incident.

Overall, Pakistan gives protection to these extremists. It also provides financial and other aids to a large extent and uses them against India. However, Pakistan’s own economy is on the path of Sri Lanka. No one is ready to even give him a loan. Perhaps that is why India’s progress, its development, its ever-increasing economic condition is not seen from Pakistan.

Whenever India is moving fast on the path of progress, Pakistan definitely does some such act. Despite the historical truth that every time his conspiracy is caught, exposed, he wants to show the world that atrocities are taking place in India, but every time Pakistan is found guilty in the eyes of the world.

True, if Arif Mohammad Khan is saying the right thing, which would be right according to the dignity of the governor, then why not shut down madrassas or at least stop giving such cut-throat education in them.

When incidents like Udaipur happen, such questions are bound to arise, but our governance system will not be aware of what Arif Mohammad is saying? Sure it will. But the governance system and the bureaucrats running it are also dead. It doesn’t matter to them.
