Earthquake tremors were felt in two northeastern states on Tuesday. An earthquake struck Mizoram at 7.52 am. According to the National Center for Seismology, the magnitude of the earthquake was recorded at 4.3 on the Richter scale. The epicenter of the earthquake was 46 km northeast of the Ngepa area here.
At the same time, earthquake tremors were felt in Arunachal Pradesh at 4:29 am. Its intensity was recorded at 4.9 on the Richter scale. The epicenter of the earthquake was 148 km north-west of the Basar area at a depth of 10 km from the ground. So far no casualties have been reported in the earthquake.
