BENGALURU: Three people with criminal background were arrested for drug smuggling and 800 grams of charas and 200 grams of hemp oil were seized.

Prashant was booked between 2016 and 2019 in four separate cases, including attempt to murder and drug peddling. John faced six trials during the same period and Sundar’s records show that he was involved in criminal activities since 2003 and was facing more than 27 cases.
“The trio confessed that they had bought drugs from two men, Narayan and Harish, in April. Harish is a fugitive, while Narayan is in judicial custody in the attempt to murder case,” the police said.
