Earlier, Ashish had tweeted the photo of his father, Minister of State for Home Ajay Mishra. Ajay Mishra went to Shahjahanpur on 14 April. There he organized ‘Social Samarsata Diwas’ on the birth anniversary of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar at the BJP office. Minister of State for Home Ajay Mishra had arrived as the chief guest in the seminar. Ashish has been very active on Twitter ever since he came out of jail on bail.
Tomorrow the Supreme Court has to decide on bail
Ashish Mishra was granted bail by the Allahabad High Court on February 10. Ashish came out of jail on February 15. The petition challenging his bail was filed by the families of those killed in the Lakhimpur violence on March 30. The Supreme Court will pronounce its verdict on April 18 on the petition challenging the bail of Ashish Mishra.

What happened in Lakhimpur?
Farmers were protesting in Lakhimpur’s Tikunia village at around 3 pm on October 3, 2021, when suddenly three vehicles (Thar, Fortuner and Scorpio) went trampling the farmers. Angry farmers created a ruckus over the incident. A total of 8 people died in this violence. It included 4 farmers, a local journalist, two BJP workers.

The incident took place before the arrival of UP Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya at a riot organized in Tikunia. After the incident, the Deputy Chief Minister had canceled his visit. It is alleged that the car of Union Minister of State for Home Ajay Mishra’s son Ashish Mishra had crushed the protesting farmers.
