In Haryana’s Palwal, a youth belonging to a particular community has come live on Facebook page named Muslim Raksha Dal and threatened to kill a person by naming him. Fearing the threat after the video went viral, Mahendra alias Azad Pathak complained to the city police station. After registering the case, the police arrested the accused.

Palwal’s DSP Vijaypal told in a press conference on Monday that Mahendra alias Azad Pathak, a resident of Gorilla Mohalla Palwal, has said in the complaint in the city police station that he was at his house at around 9 o’clock last night. Sonu, who lives in the neighborhood, sent him a link to a Facebook page. The link was to a page named Muslim Raksha Dal. He saw that a youth named Taufiq, resident of Mohan Nagar, came live and threatened to kill him by coming to his house. Threatened to kill him several times in the video. It was repeatedly told that the same could happen to Kanhaiya Lal who was killed in Udaipur.

Taufeeq is saying in the video that when even a child of a Muslim comes out with a sword, then bombs start exploding behind you (Hindus). The complaint said that the accused repeatedly said in the video about the murder of Kanhaiya Lal in Udaipur that ‘one punishment of Gustakh-e-Rasool is separated from the body’. He is publicly saying that he will cut off his head. Mahendra alias Azad Pathak said that he wants to incite riots by threatening the entire Hindu society and is trying to disturb the peace and brotherhood of the area.

He told the police that Taufeeq was in danger for his life. Along with this, he has hurt him mentally and has tried to spread religious hysteria. The accused keeps posting such videos frequently. Action should be taken against the fanatics of such wrong mindset so that peace remains in the area.

DSP Vijaypal said that after registering a case against the accused, the cyber police station has arrested the accused Taufeeq on the basis of cyber technology. Police is busy interrogating the accused. Soon his mentality and things related to it will be exposed.
