A special court in Mumbai on Monday sentenced a 25-year-old man to five years in prison for abducting a minor girl and trying to forcibly kiss her. The court of Justice Jayshree Pulate has found the accused guilty under the POCSO Act. Justice said that it is clear from the arguments that the intention of the accused was to have sex with the minor. The case pertains to the year 2015 in Dharavi area of ​​Mumbai. The victim studied in a government school in the area. Then she was nine years old. The victim told that the accused took her to the terrace of a building on the pretext of giving her a dress. He was pulling me towards him and was also trying to kiss me, but somehow I managed to free myself from the grip of the accused and run away.

The counsel appearing for the accused side in the court said that there is a difference between the statement of the victim and the evidence given in the court. It has not been made clear from the aggrieved side that they have been kissed or tried to be kissed.
