Shooter Arun Maurya, a resident of Vikas Nagar, Panipat, Haryana is also involved in the murder of mafia Atiq Ahmed and Ashraf Ahmed amidst police protection in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh.
Two cases are also registered against Arun in Panipat. In which one case is of being caught with illegal pistol, while the other case is of threatening and beating a witness in a murder case.
Advocate Suresh, who is defending the Arms Act case Daily newspaper Had a special conversation. In which the lawyer told that Arun has been declared a minor by the court in Panipat cases.
He did not appear in the court on the very first date after being declared a minor. Actually, that night he is arrested by the UP police in the double murder case.
The court declared the age of 17 years and 6 months
Giving information, Advocate Suresh said that the accused Arun Maurya was produced by Panipat CIA to Police on 4 February 2022 in the JMIC court. From where the court sent him to judicial custody for 14 days.
Arun’s bail was approved on 19 February 2022 and he came out of jail. After this, the next date in the case was for presenting the police challan. This was followed by the date of the charge frame. On every date, Arun came to the court with his uncle’s son Atul, as Atul is also an accused in the case.
On the third date, Arun’s family members told that he is a minor, so his case should be conducted in the minor court. After which a petition was filed in the Juvenile Court on March 24, 2022, appealing to declare Arun a minor.
The court fixed March 29 as the date for hearing the matter. During the hearing on March 29, the court declared Arun a minor. In which his age was mentioned as 17 years and 6 months.
Tau’s son Atul told that the UP police arrested
On March 29, the Juvenile Court, declaring Arun a minor, gave the first date for the hearing of the case as April 15, 2023. Arun did not turn up for the court appearance on Saturday on the given date. After which the lawyer appealed for the next date, the court gave the next date of May 4, 2023.
On 17th April the lawyer called Arun’s brother Atul. When asked why Arun did not appear for the hearing, Atul told that Arun has been arrested by the UP police in connection with the murder of Atiq and Ashraf in Prayagraj. Now the lawyers will make the court aware of this episode by filing a production warrant petition. Along with this, a petition for attendance waiver will also be filed.
Lawyer said: On seeing it did not seem that even a fly can kill
The lawyer told that on seeing Arun it does not seem at all that he can kill even a fly. Because he used to hide even in the court. If asked or said anything to him, he used to just smile. When asked to increase the fees, he used to hand over a few rupees and smilingly said that he would transfer the rest of the money online.
However never transferred the money. He always accompanied Atul to the court. According to the lawyer, he used to wear very simple clothes. There was no cleverness visible in his speech either.
Jigana pistol used in Sidhu Musewala murder
Sunny, who killed Atiq Ahmed and Ashraf Ahmed in Prayagraj, is also connected to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Please tell that sources claim that a shooter Sunny is also in contact with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. In fact, the pistol which was used to kill Atiq and Ashraf was also used in the murder of Punjabi singer and Congress leader Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu Musewala.
Jigana pistol was used to kill Atiq. The entire operation to kill Ahmed was planned by Sunny Singh, who used to watch Bishnoi’s interviews and videos.
Singh was reportedly deeply influenced by Bishnoi’s communally charged speeches and dreamed of a mass murder like that of music composer Sidhu Musewala, who was allegedly shot dead by Bishnoi’s gang members on May 29 last year.
Arun also used to try to meet Lawrence
Arun Maurya was influenced by the notorious Lawrence Bishnoi and kept in touch with his henchmen and tried to meet him. Earlier, CIA-to Panipat arrested him with Katta on 4th February 2022, but instead of reforming in jail, he got stuck in the quagmire of crime.
This is the reason that after being released on bail, he contacted the operatives of UP’s Bhati gang and Lawrence Bishnoi gang. After this, Lawrence kept trying to contact Bishnoi, but his conversation could not be done. Meanwhile, after the sudden murder of Mafia Atiq and Arshaf, not only his family members but also other people are shocked.
