The Assam Board Class 12 exam 2024 will be held in two shifts from February 12 to March 13,. The practical tests are scheduled from January 24 to February 8
The schedule for the class 12 Higher Secondary board exams in 2024 has been announced today, December 7, by the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC). According to media reports, the Assam HS 2024 examinations will be held from February 12 to March 13, 2024. The class 12 application form submission date has been extended by the AHSEC till December 15, 5 PM. Applicants can complete the registration process at their respective educational institutions. The practical tests, meanwhile, are scheduled from January 24 through February 8.
The Assam Class 12 board examinations will be held in two shifts. The morning shift will run from 9 am to 12 pm, and the afternoon shift is scheduled from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm. The board has announced that an additional 10 minutes would be granted for reading the question paper during the exams from 8.50 am to 9 am and 1.20 pm to 1.30 pm.

Meanwhile, the merger of the Board of Secondary Education (SEBA) and the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) was approved by the Assam Government in November. A single body would now be in charge of the domains of the Class 10 and Class 12 education boards in Assam, according to a decision taken by the state during a cabinet meeting presided over by Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.
