Arvind Kejriwal News LIVE: According to a complaint filed by the ED, the Delhi court — on February 7 — had asked Kejriwal to appear before it on February 17

Arvind Kejriwal News LIVE: Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party supremo Arvind Kejriwal on Friday moved a ‘confidence motion’ in the Assembly. This move comes ahead of his appearance before the Rouse Avenue Court on Saturday, in connection with the Enforcement Directorate’s complaint against him for skipping five summons in the Delhi excise policy case.

This is the second time within a two period that the AAP has moved a ‘confidence motion’ in the House. Speaker Ram Niwas Goal posted the discussion on the proposal on Saturday.

The development comes just days after the anti-corruption agency summoned the Delhi chief minister for the sixth time in connection with the liquor policy scam case. Kejriwal has been asked to appear before the agency at its headquarters in the national capital.
