Directed by Aditya Suhas Jambhale, the movie boasts a talented ensemble cast including Priyamani, Arun Govil, Vaibhav Tatwawadi, Skand Thakur, and more.
According to Sacnilk.com, ‘Article 370’ made an impressive debut, raking in Rs 5.75 crore India net on its opening day. The film secured a Hindi occupancy rate of 42.83%, with a significant portion of collections attributed to night shows. Exploring the PMO’s decision to revoke Jammu and Kashmir’s special status, the film premiered across 1,500 cinema halls and 2,200 screens in India.
Benefiting from Cinema Lovers’ Day celebrations, major national cinema chains like PVR, INOX, and Cinepolis, alongside select multiplexes nationwide, offered discounted tickets priced at only 99 rupees and 199 rupees for recliner seats. This initiative significantly supported pre-sales, enhancing the film’s opening day collection.
Despite facing competition from Vidyut Jammwal’s ‘Crakk’ and Varun Grover’s ‘All India Rank’ at the box office, ‘Article 370’ holds its ground, catering to its distinct audience base.
With an estimated budget of Rs 20 Crores encompassing production and advertising costs, the film aims to make a significant mark in the cinematic landscape.

During the trailer launch of the film, producer Aditya Dhar shared, “The intent of the film is correct and till the time I am a filmmaker, producer, and a director, the intent will always be right. The day the intent is wrong, I will stop making films. So, I don’t care what people say, especially those people who are agenda driven critics.”
