A video has surfaced of an argument between an air hostess and a passenger on an Indigo flight. In the clip, both the air hostess and the passenger are seen shouting at each other. It is being told that the debate took place over the food served in the flight. Matters worsened when the passenger called the air hostess a servant. To which the air hostess said – I am an employee, not your servant.
IndiGo also reacted quickly after the video of the incident went viral. According to the airline, the passenger used abusive language for the air hostess. The incident is of a flight coming from Istanbul to Delhi.
Know why there was a fight
Actually, this incident happened when the cabin crew was serving food to the passengers. For which the passenger directly started questioning the air hostess. The air hostess then tried to pacify the passenger and requested him to speak politely first. Despite that the passenger started shouting at him. He shouted at the air hostess asking her to shut up.
The air hostess told the passenger that you cannot talk to the crew like this. I am listening to you quietly with full respect, you also have to respect the crew member. You can’t talk to me like this. I am also an employee here, not your servant. On this the passenger asked why are you shouting. In response to which he said – because you are shouting at us. During this, another crew member intervened and tried to resolve the matter.
The passenger called the air hostess a servant, on which she got upset.
Indigo responded
The crew member with whom the passenger was having an argument was the team leader. So the airline had to intervene on this issue. The airline said that the behavior of the passenger on the flight was not proper. He has insulted the air hostess. Indigo said that they are looking into the incident. The convenience of our customers has been our first and foremost priority.
