The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) has rescheduled the dates for the Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test (AP EAPCET 2024). The engineering exam will now take place on May 16, while the agriculture exam will be held on May 17. Initially planned for May 13 to May 19, the council made this decision to accommodate changes. Registration is currently underway on the official website, cets.apsche.ap.gov.in, with the deadline set for April 15.

Reportedly, the AP EAPCET tests for 2024 have been postponed owing to the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Several national and state-level tests, including the UPSC CSE Prelims, NEET PG and ICAI CA exams, have been rescheduled to prevent clashes with the general elections.

How To Apply For AP EAPCET 2024?

Step 1: Go to the official AP EAPCET website, cets.apsche.ap.gov.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, look for and click on the registration link for “AP EAPCET 2024.”

Step 3: You’ll be taken to the registration page, enter your information and upload documents.

Step 4: Proceed to the payment section and pay the application fee.

Step 5: Once the payment has been successfully processed, you will receive confirmation of your application submission.

Step 6: Print out the confirmation page for future reference.

Candidates who apply for the AP EAPCET until April 30 will be charged a Rs 500 late fee. For those who apply between May 1 and May 5, the late charge rises to Rs 1,000. The registration fee is Rs 600. Backward classes must pay Rs 550, while SC and ST folks must pay Rs 500 as an application fee.

The AP EAPCET 2024 exam is being held for admission to Engineering, Agriculture, and Pharmacy programmes. It is a 3-hour computer-based test that is administered online. The exam has a total of 160 points, with applicants answering 160 questions. The exam can be given in either English/Urdu or English/Telugu. The exam sessions will take place in two shifts. The first shift will run from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by the second shift from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.
