Another video of Sourav alias Shaligram Garg, brother of Peethadhishwar Dhirendra Shastri of Bageshwar Dham, has surfaced on Wednesday. In which he is seen firing with a pistol. Earlier, the police had registered a case a day earlier regarding the video that went viral.
Here, Dhirendra Shastri has presented his side. He said that every subject should not be linked to us. Investigate the law impartially. On the other hand, Bhim Army chief Chandrashekhar has warned of agitation if the accused is not arrested soon.
Both the videos are related to the marriage of the daughter of Ahirwar Samaj which took place on February 11 in Gada village of Chhatarpur district. The first video of Shaligram went viral on Sunday. In this he has a cigarette in one hand and a knife in the other. He is threatening the bride’s family by abusing them. The incident was not reported to the police. Taking cognizance, the police themselves registered the case and took the statement of the girl’s father.

Eyewitness said – we are scared, get security
Since the incident, there is panic in the colony of the Dalit family. The family members, including the girl’s father Kallu Ahirwar, are repeatedly changing their statements. Hemraj Ahirwar, the neighbor of the girl who was involved in the marriage and an eyewitness to the incident, said that everyone is scared. I am scared too. We should be given security. If we are not given security, we will be killed.

Girl’s father said- Shaligram threatened to kill
In the statement given to the police, the girl’s father Kallu Ahirwar said, ‘I live in Gadha village. I do wages On February 11, my daughter Sita Ahirwar was getting married to Akash Ahirwar, a resident of village Aktoha. During the wedding ceremony, at 12 o’clock in the night, Shaligram Garg of the village came to the tent in front of my house and shouted abuses – why are you playing the song in a loud voice?
Lighting a cigarette and waving a katta in his hand, he started scaring people. Started pushing and shoving with the people standing on the spot. No one was hurt in the scuffle, but the chairs in the tent were broken and damaged.
Shaligram said – If you don’t listen to me, I will kill you. Due to fear, I could not come to the police station earlier to file the report. Shaligram Garg is threatening me and my family. I have written a report after the police came to my house, action should be taken on this.

Bhim Army chief raised questions on the FIR
After the registration of the FIR, Bhim Army chief Chandrashekhar in his statement has demanded the police to arrest the accused Shaligram within 48 hours. He said that if the arrest is not made, he will agitate. Bhim Army has also raised questions on the FIR. The names of others involved with the accused have not been mentioned in the FIR and no action has been taken regarding the illegal weapon.
